Up to double the coverage amount applies to accidents on a commercial flight. Emergency medical evacuation applies to overseas injuries. Repatriation is applicable in event of death.

Includes coverage for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner and chiropractor.

Specialist rehabilitative treatment includes services rendered by a psychiatrist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist or speech therapist. Mobility aids or home modification to cope with a major disability are covered as part of this policy.

Coverage applies to situations including acts of terrorism, natural disasters (e.g. floods, earthquake, tsunamis and landslides) and drowning, on top of everyday risks like dengue fever and food poisoning. Receive a monthly payout for 12 consecutive months if a major disability stops you from working totally.

Weekly income benefit
Receive a weekly payout if you are disabled and totally unable to work. If a temporary partial disability hampers your work, we will pay 25% of the weekly income benefit.
 
Monthly support benefit
Receive a monthly payout for 12 consecutive months upon a major disability.

  • Overseas refers to outside Singapore, your home country and your usual place of residence or employment.
  • The coverage amount for accidental death, accidental dismemberment and burns benefit, aviation accident benefit and accidental medical reimbursement benefit will be reduced by 50% when you turn age 75.
  • To be eligible for the following benefits, total claims paid or payable due to 1 accident under accidental death, accidental dismemberment and burns benefit (other than for loss of life) must be 50% or more of the coverage amount.
    • Rehabilitation support benefit
    • Monthly support benefit 
    • Home modification benefit
  • The need for mobility aids must be recommended by a registered medical practitioner; and home modification must be recommended by a practitioner in rehabilitative services for the purpose of adapting the home to facilitate movement in and around the home in view of the disabilities suffered by you.
  • Weekly Income Benefit payout is only applicable up to 52 weeks.
  • Enjoy a basic health screening at no charge for the first year when you integrate your AIA Platinum AccidentCare plan with AIA Vitality. Level up your Vitality status and maintain Gold or Platinum Vitality status to continue enjoying this benefit from year 2 onwards.

You may wish to terminate the policy according to the free-look provision if you find that the policy is unsuitable after purchasing it, and AIA may recover from you any expense incurred in underwriting the policy. 
 
Buying health insurance products that are not suitable for you may impact your ability to finance your future healthcare needs. You are discouraged from switching from an existing accident and/or health insurance policy to a new one without considering whether the switch is detrimental, as there may be potential disadvantages with switching. A penalty may be imposed for early policy termination and the new policy may cost more or have fewer benefits at the same cost. 
 
Most of the benefits of this policy will be payable upon the occurrence of an accident.
 
This policy is protected under the Policy Owners' Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
